  Douibyorthst (aka Daniel Sanford) is an Austin-based producer that focuses on house music and synthwave whose latest release, “Synthetic Acid,” focuses on the acid house aesthetic of the late 80s/early 90s along with his own personal blend of dance-able electronica influences like Daft Punk, Boards of Canada, the Chemical Brothers, Afrika Bambaataa, and Luke Vibert. Eight tracks are strung together as a seamless DJ set that pays homage to the innovative work done by pioneers on the Roland TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines and the Roland TB-303 bass line synthesizer. Blending elements of acid house, synthwave, IDM, and big beat, “Synthetic Acid” is a series of synth-heavy dancefloor jams that are sure to get the party going. Most songs are up beat (110 to 128 BPM) but the final track, “ΔH (Enthalpy Change)” slows things down while shifting the tone to somber as an album closer.
