Rounding out year two of me working on the podcast "Talking to Women about Videogames" has been quite a journey. 4 days before Halloween this year, Jonathan asked me if it was too late for us to do a Halloween song. What followed was a mad dash to write, record, and produce the song Chubby Checker Psycho, a Misfits style-parody that we enjoyed working on so much we decided to actually make real CDs out of it. For brevity's sake we only included 34 of these songs on the disc but if you've made your way to Bandcamp, here's the whole dang thing! Full, unadulterated Jonathan-core! Despite writing 94 songs for last year's album, we're now exceeding that and hitting solidly in the triple digits. Some of these songs were never on the show ("Severe Persistent Mental Illness" through "Never Drink Water Again" might one day be in a video?) and others were just kind of background bits for the YouTube channel or the audio show. There are also a few that were written without Jonathan's knowledge and only shared on a Discord about Jonathan, but I decided to include them here ("Vespa Model" and "Jonathan Groans"). And some of the "remix of Jonathan" songs came from other shows, such as Jonathan's appearance on another show I started this year with Crystal Maiden Punk called "The Spin-Off Doctors Spin-Off Podcast" ("Jesus Kept Coming") or from "Boston's Favorite Son" ("How's Your Penis?"). And this is all of course while we're coming out with a bi-weekly show. So it's been a wild ride and I can't wait to write more goofy songs!

As with last year, these songs have been "remastered" from their original airing forms, sometimes I even wrote extended bits to them because I'd get a wild hair when I was revisiting them, such as the longer opening for "I'm Gonna Kick Your Ass." Some of them had longer intros or outros but I cut them for time on the show, so now you can hear them in their uncut glory.
